Discussion | Realize that you will need to apply your understanding of multimodal design to the production of your digital story. Prepare to explain to your classmates the significance of one of the following multimodal design elements:
- Design Choices | We do: Color, Contrast
- Design Choices | You do: Emphasis, Framing, Element
- Design Choices | You do: Organization, Proximity, Sequence
This has great promise for the week I am gone –> An alternative would be to invite students to collaborate in groups and to meet to watch a digital story and to discuss how the above design choices are or are not effectively used to convey meaning in that digital story. This could then be a required blog post for credit.
